Flotilla 02 of Division 05, First Northern District, United States Coast Guard (Auxiliary) takes pride in our cooperative efforts to serve the Boating Public and to act as Force Multipliers for the United States Coast Guard in and around Boston, Massachusetts.
We are particularly active in the areas of Public Education, Vessel Safety and Vessel Operations in the Greater Boston Area, and we work closely with our fellow Active Duty, Reserve and Auxiliary Coast Guard Personnel to fulfill the duties of the United States Coast Guard in the 21st Century.
We are pleased that our membership continues to grow and new members are being added to our ranks all the time. We are particularly fortunate to have so many outstanding marine resources available in the Greater Boston Operational Area.
Boston is a beautiful and vibrant historic port-city with a rich American Maritime Heritage offering numerous recreational and boating opportunities for people of all ages and interests. Boston boasts multiple marinas as well as large port facilities from which sailors, anglers, cruisers and vacationers may enjoy the countless attractions Boston offers its residents and visitors alike.
The United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary take pride in serving and protecting the American People and the Cultural/Historic and Marine Resources unique to the Greater Boston Operational Area.
For those individuals visiting our website for the first time, we are pleased to invite you to take a moment to familiarize yourself with the many marine, weather, boating and education resources available through United States Coast Guard and United States Coast Guard Auxiliary via this and other associated websites. Each of the pages of this website contain information and/or links which we believe you will find useful; our fellow Auxiliarists tend to make more use of the pages noted immediately below. On our "Member Info" page we provide many useful links to U.S.C.G. & U.S.C.G.(Aux.) websites; links to the Office of the Chief Director of the United States Coast Guard (Auxiliary); information on the procurement of U.S.C.G. & U.S.C.G.(Aux.) Uniforms; links to NOAA data buoys; Local Notice to Mariners chart update information; Radio Frequencies; links to U.S.C.G.(Aux.) Education & Testing resources and every major U.S.C.G. and U.S.C.G.(Aux.) Manual, Form or Publication which is likely to be of immediate use to our members (in training).
