What do some of the (above) terms mean?

Education
Education involves the passing of information from an experienced individual (an instructor) to an inexperienced individual, frequently involving the demonstration of acquired information through the use of specific skills.

In the context of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, such "Education" or information sharing takes place through specific instructional classes, following Coast Guard approved instruction in an orderly and methodical manner; the goal of which being, to pass on to the members of the Boating Public, information which the Coast Guard considers invaluable to safe and prudent maritime recreational activities.

Public Education Classes are scheduled by the United States Coast Guard (Auxiliary) for the benefit of those members of the Boating Public interested in increasing their level of knowledge and skill sets as relates to basic boating safety, navigation, marlinspike and seamanship and the use of modern marine electronics, such as GPS. We take pride in our efforts to encourage and foster safe recreational boating, and Public Education (undertaken by Coast Guard Auxiliarists) is an integral component of the United States Coast Guard's ongoing effort to reduce the number of boating accidents/fatalities each year.

Force Multiplication
Force Multiplication as viewed in the context of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, refers to the increased structural and operational efficiencies which result from the combination of resources and personnel from the Active Duty Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. By selectively assigning roles to specific elements of the United States Coast Guard and United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, optimal personnel management and operational efficiency may be obtained, enhancing the robustness, endurance, reaction-time(s) and ultimate capabilities of the United States Coast Guard to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.

Marine Safety
Marine Safety includes maintaining America's (marine) resources and protecting them from polluters and those intent on profiting from practices that will render the environment unsuitable to use by others. Marine Safety is a primary concern of the Marine Safety Officers in the United States Coast Guard.

Furthermore, Marine Safety encompasses the realm of safe transit of all military, commercial and recreational vessel traffic/activity in the marine environment, and is affected by countless environmental, geographic, legal and at times, geopolitical factors.
